This 17 townhouse complex with basement was built on the site of a former service station and garage. Located on the main street in busy Buderim, difficult site access presented a raft of logistics challenges that needed to be overcome to ensure our build programme was maintained.

The use of timber battening and screening and powder coated aluminium sun hoods along with the inclusion of interesting roof lines and projecting walls has helped make the project stand out from the rest.

With the site perched on the rim of an extinct volcano, the difficult basement and footing excavations were compounded by the extremely hard in ground rock.

Due to the high road traffic volume passing the site, the design also called for increased acoustic performance requirements for those building elevations fronting the street. The DA also called for the preservation of several of the exotic palms and feature trees that were part of the previous landscaping.

This project was delivered on time and budget to a happy client.
